Since I started my blog ‘Lauftrek - run. ride. hike. anywhere.’ in 2016, I more often take a camera with me. On every running or cycling/mountain biking adventure, I am aiming at capturing the landscape around me (see Instagram link). While I chose mostly the smartphone camera for my pure sport activities - which come with an incredible quality in the meantime - I trust a proper camera on my more relaxed hiking and city trips. Too much I love to take photographs in unknown or known places - always trying to find new subjects, perspectives, and inspirations.
When having a longer break around the festive season in 2021/2022 and spending my time in Mürren (Berner Oberland, Switzerland), I decided to publish my ‘work’, that I personally find appealing, online. And the current results of my documentary of Mürren as well as previous projects are available on these PHOTOGRAPHTREK pages.
I would not call myself a photographer. Rather as someone, who loves to document stories of our time. I shoot landscape, street, and documentary. I rather use lightweight equipment that is fun to shoot with instead of having the ultimate gear. I am using an Olympus OM-D EM 5 II with multiple lenses (primes and zooms) as well as a newly acquired Fujifilm X100V.
